General Code Of Conduct

Maintain Discipline

Students are expected to uphold discipline and decorum within the college campus.

Stay Informed

Students should regularly read notices displayed on the notice board. Ignorance of any notice will not be accepted as an excuse for non-compliance.

Prohibited Activities

Smoking, spitting, and littering are strictly prohibited in the college premises.

Classroom Etiquette:

Students should not leave their classrooms without permission and must wait until the lecturer has left the room or dismissed the class.

No Loitering

Loitering, gathering in groups, and loud talking are strictly prohibited around verandahs, corridors, staircases, and other passages within the college campus.

Organizing Meetings

Students must obtain prior permission from the principal to organize or attend any meetings or to collect money for any purpose.

Attendance

Students are required to attend all classes regularly and punctually as per the timetable.

Care for Property

Students should handle furniture and books with care. Any damage will be charged individually or collectively.

Property Damage

Students are advised against damaging college property. In case of any damage, a general fine proportional to the damage will be imposed on all students if the responsible individuals are not identified.

Library Rules

Maintain Silence

Strict silence must be observed in the library.

Borrowing Books

Books can be borrowed on designated days for each class. Library cards must be presented along with the student’s identity card when borrowing books.

Book Requests

Students should apply for up to five books in order of preference a day before the issue date for their class, using the provided slip.

Late Returns

Failure to return books on the due date will incur a fine of Rs. 1.00 per day.

Damaged or Lost Books

Students must not damage or lose any books. If this occurs, the book must be replaced or its cost reimbursed.

Check for Damage

Upon borrowing a book, students should check for any damage and report it to the librarian. Failure to do so will result in the student being held responsible for any damage found upon return.

No Sub-lending

Books should not be sub-lent to others.
