Basaveshwara College of Commerce, Arts & Science has been operational since 1982, thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Sri Jagajyothi Basaveshwara Sahakara Sangha (N). Founded in 1959, the Sangha was established with the goal of providing quality education at an affordable cost. Its mission is to empower and uplift marginalized sections of society. The college offers programs in the faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce, and Management. In 2017, the college was accredited with a ‘B+’ grade by NAAC.

The college is dedicated to achieving academic excellence while fostering the holistic development of students through various skill-development activities. Inter-class and inter-collegiate competitions enhance their campus experience, while literary, cultural, and sports activities, along with seminars, conferences, and workshops, contribute to comprehensive learning. We emphasize moral integrity and human values in our students’ development. In essence, the college ensures that a student’s three-year stay is both productive and memorable.
